QGIS 1.6.0 COPIAPO Released

QGIS is available on Windows, MacOS X and Linux. Binary packages are provided for the current version. The current version is QGIS 1.6.0 and was released on 27 November 2010.

Quantum GIS is open source software available under the terms of the GNU General Public License meaning that its source code can be downloaded through tarballs or the Subversion repository (SVN).

For testing and learning purpose, we also provide a sample dataset, which contains collections of data from different sources and in different formats, like GPS data, a small GRASS location, GeoTiff, ERDAS Img, Shape or GML formats.

Warning Warning: Development versions from trunk are provided for some platforms additionally to the released version. Trunk contains unreleased software that is currently being worked on. As such they are unsupported and only provided for testing purposes to early adopters to check if bugs have been resolved and that no new bugs have been introduced. At any given time it may not work, or may do bad things to your data. Use as your own risk. You have been warned.
